Where can the Wood Turtle be found????
The wood turtle is native to the northern part of the United States and south east of Canada It usually lives in swamps, marshes lakes, ponds, grasslands, etc. Its habitat gives them an excellent advantage to hide from predators because its small and the native lands have allot of rocks, thick waters and other safe places to hide. It is also an advantage because then can get allot of food and they don't have to compete. There excellent climbers so that is also a unique adaptation for them to be able to exceed in their environment. There are no intraspecfic interactions with wood turtles because they do not have to compete because there is a surplus of food and habitat for them. The wood turtle how ever deals with interspecific interactions because it competes with other organism for food and shares the same habitats with them.
